ACAP Foundation supports the academic and professional growth of Croatian and Croatian-American students through scholarships, fellowships, and mentorship opportunities. Our goal is to raise more funds to expand our impact—and we need your support to continue building a lasting legacy of opportunity and Croatian excellence.

Foundation Programs

Scholarships for Croatian Students

These scholarships are awarded to students studying in Croatia who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance and are in need of financial assistance. ACAP is partnering with leading Croatian institutions to award scholarships to their students through a competitive selection process.

Scholarships for Croatian American Students

The ACAP Future Leaders Scholarship Program is dedicated to supporting and encouraging academic excellence and community involvement among Croatian American students pursuing higher education in the U.S. ACAP is awarding 5 scholarships worth $1,000 each to Croatian American students studying in the U.S.!

Fellowships

The ACAP Fellowship Program is designed to launch early careers by placing students and recent graduates in impactful fellowships at renowned institutions, including the Cleveland Clinic and Mount Sinai. These opportunities provide hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and meaningful connections that support long-term career growth.

Short-Term Study Opportunities in Croatia

Through fully funded tuition scholarships, students of Croatian heritage can join short-term academic programs in Croatia that combine cultural immersion with coursework and research. These experiences promote cross-cultural exchange and allow students to earn academic credit in fields like business, economics, and environmental studies.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the ACAP Foundation. Thanks to their incredible support I had a unique opportunity to spend a full month with a world-renowned cardiac surgeon at the Miller Family Heart and Vascular Institute at the Cleveland Clinic.

From Cakovec, a computer scientist by trade and a mathematician at heart, he earned an award from FER for his exceptional performance on the entrance exam. With a scholarship funded by your donations, Miho was able to purchase the textbooks necessary for his Master's thesis. In 2024, he graduated with a GPA of 4.875 and is now a teaching assistant in Programming.

I am grateful to the ACAP Foundation for awarding me this scholarship. Being chosen as one of the recipients will support my tuition and contribute to my career development.

100% of funds donated to ACAP Foundation reached their intended recipients. ACAP membership fees enable us to cover the administrative work of the foundation (such as tax filings, legal work, etc.). Each one of our projects sought to be the “gift that keeps on giving” in terms of having a lasting and meaningful impact.
