Zagreb 2023

ACAP’s three-day annual conference: Connecting the Doers held from July 5-8, 2023 concluded on a high note, gathering 524 participants and over 120 speakers. The conference was formally inaugurated by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Andrej Plenković. Meanwhile, 4th President of the Republic of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar Kitarović engaged in a captivating Fireside chat. The President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, awarded the Charter of the Republic of Croatia to ACAP.

New York 2022

More than 360 participants joined the 6th Annual Conference held at the iconic New York Athletic Club from June 16- 18, 2022. A quarter of the participants traveled from Croatia while the rest included Croatian-Americans who are members of ACAP, as well as other business leaders, investors, advisors, and friends of Croatia from the U.S. The motto, “Innovation, Collaboration & Sustainability,” was inspired by the regional and global successes of the companies highlighted at the conference. The conference highlighted ACAP as the mechanism to foster idea generation and networking and to connect those who value mutual collaboration, innovation, sustainable business practices, and charitable work.

Cleveland 2019

At the four-day event, more than 400 diplomats, scientists, artists, engineers, medical professionals, lawyers, journalists, business executives, social media experts, and accountants from the U.S. Canada, Germany, Australia, and Croatia were brought together. “A diverse array of innovative professionals with Croatian roots came together once again, to share strategies, knowledge, and business contacts,” says Steven Pavletic, MD, Vice President, ACAP. “This gathering is meant to fuel networking opportunities while creating meaningful impact and establishing long-lasting relationships with Croatians and friends of Croatia.”

Silicon Valley 2018

The four-day event brought together more than 300 Croatian American professionals. “We are proud to again be part of the energy created here. This event serves as a rare opportunity for diaspora from all corners of the United States to meet and network and create direct dialogue with government officials and representatives for issues that matter to them,” said Sinisa Grgic, Consul General of the Republic of Croatia in Los Angeles.

Chicago 2017

The second annual conference featured more than 40 speakers from the U.S and Croatia who helped navigate insightful conversations during seven panel discussions and four themed breakout sessions. The afternoon session included a special keynote conference address by Croatian-American two-time Super Bowl champ David Diehl where he shared inspirational stories as an athlete who has transitioned off the field. With support by the Consulate General of the Republic of Croatia, the three-day event brought together more than 400 Croatian American professionals.

Washington D.C. 2016

The first-ever in-person conference held on April 21-22 in Washington, DC, concluded with unprecedented success. Featuring the active participation of over 210 professionals, primarily Croatian Americans alongside distinguished guests from Canada and Zagreb, the event marked a significant stride towards fostering international collaboration and unity under the theme “One Global Croatia.”
