Get Involved:

  • Apply: Interested in contributing to your local chapter leadership? Apply here.
  • Nominate: Do you know an outstanding Croatian-American in your community? Nominate them here.

As ACAP Chapter leaders, you are expected to actively drive initiatives that support and enrich the Croatian-American professional community. Responsibilities include organizing events, facilitating networking, and promoting membership growth. Ideal candidates will demonstrate enthusiasm for their heritage, possess strong leadership abilities, and commit to enhancing the chapter’s presence and impact. Your leadership is essential in sustaining and advancing ACAP’s mission at both national and international levels.

All candidates are running for the Chapter Board position allocation and elected Chapter Board members will internally vote on the specific roles after the elections (such as President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, etc.).

Criteria for Candidates Running for ACAP Chapter Boards:

  • Candidate must be in good standing, with an activated ACAP membership and paid dues
  • Candidate needs to provide a short description of motivation, plans, and vision for Chapter activities and programming in the new 2-year term. This 100-word summary will be included on the voting ballot for voters to review before selecting candidates
  • Candidate must have some form of past volunteering activity and meaningful engagement in ACAP or similar nonprofits (ideally Croatian-American, but not exclusive)

Voting and Nomination Eligibility Criteria:

  • Active Membership: The candidate must be in good standing, with an activated ACAP membership and paid dues.
  • Platform Login: A member must log in to members.croampro.com to conduct voting and/or nomination.
  • Updated Profile: Ensure your profile is updated with your designated chapter on members.croampro.com to qualify for voting and nomination for that specific chapter.
  • Chapter Affiliation: Members can be affiliated with only one designated chapter. We are currently receiving nominations only for the Chapters listed above. Chapter designation is not mandatory and those members cannot vote for specific chapter elections.

This is your chance to contribute to a legacy-based nonprofit focused on connecting successful Croatian Americans both nationally and internationally. Don’t miss the opportunity to make a significant impact in your professional community.
