ACAP Meets with President Milanović

During his official visit to the United Nations, Mr. Zoran Milanovic, President of the Republic of Croatia, was hosted by the Croatian Consulate in New York where he met with the Association of Croatian American Professionals (ACAP) leadership as well as other representatives of Croatian organizations in the United States for a meeting at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Croatia to the United Nations in New York City. 


The discussion was focused on a myriad of ACAP initiatives including medical tourism in Croatia, the annual conferences, academic studies abroad, and the Association’s humanitarian efforts to provide earthquake relief through the ACAP Foundation. Accompanying the President were Croatia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Gordan Grlic-Radman, Croatia’s Ambassador to the United States, Mr. Pjer Simunovic, Croatia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Mr. Ivan Simonovic, the host Mr. Nikica Kopacevic Consul General in New York and other dignitaries.

Representing the Association were ACAP President, Dr. Steven Z. Pavletic; ACAP Foundation President, Mr. Boris Vilic; ACAP Board of Directors member, Mr. Luka Misetic; as well as the leadership of the thriving ACAP NYC Chapter: Ms. Iva Vukina, Mr. Kreso Mikus, and Ms. Tena Bugarin.
