ACAP Zagreb Shines at Prestigious Croatian Diaspora Panel

On November 11, 2024, ACAP Zagreb took center stage at the Croatian Diaspora Panel during the Scientific-Professional Conference hosted by the Croatian Institute for Migration Research. Held in the distinguished Grand Hall of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK), the event gathered influential leaders dedicated to advancing the Croatian diaspora’s role globally. Alongside ACAP Zagreb’s President, Don Markušić, prominent voices included David Smith, Director General of the Ruđer Bošković Institute; Marin Sopta, President of the Centre for Diaspora Research; and Marko Belinich of ALCA Canada.

Don Markušić delivered a compelling presentation showcasing ACAP’s initiatives and underscoring its critical role in uniting the Croatian diaspora in the U.S. with Croatia. His message resonated throughout the panel, with participants repeatedly acknowledging ACAP’s transformative impact on diaspora relations. The panelists highlighted ACAP’s successes, reinforcing the organization’s reputation as a leader in fostering unity, collaboration, and opportunity for Croatians worldwide.
