The Arts & Culture category celebrated Kristin Vuković, an award-winning writer who has spent over a decade introducing global audiences to Croatia’s rich culture, history, and cuisine through prestigious publications. Her debut novel, “The Cheesemaker’s Daughter,” and numerous accolades, including two Golden Pen awards, underscore her significant impact in the literary world.

Niko Hazdovac, founder of the renowned Adriatic Travel agency in Los Angeles, was honored for his enduring influence on the preservation of Croatian identity in San Pedro. Peter Hricak, celebrated for his leadership in Business & Technology, has a storied career that includes pioneering computer simulations for the Star Wars franchise. His expertise in cybersecurity and IT strategy positions him as a leader in innovative solutions for global organizations.
In the realm of Philanthropy, Wanita Kelava was recognized for her role in fostering business and professional connections between Canada and Croatia. Her leadership in the Canadian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce exemplifies her dedication to community service.
