Dear ACAP Members,
We are excited to announce the Call for Nominations for the 2025 ACAP Board of Directors (BoD). This is your opportunity to either put forward a colleague or nominate yourself to contribute directly to the strategic direction, growth, and leadership of ACAP. We are looking for nominations for new or returning members to serve a two-year term on the Board. If you have some expertise you are willing to share with ACAP, please consider applying for a board position. Nominations are due by the 1st of November 2024.
Open Positions: There are 9 open seats on the BoD for the upcoming term starting January 1, 2025.
BoD Member Responsibilities:
- Uphold and promote the vision and mission of ACAP
- Dedicate meaningful time to sponsor outcomes that support ACAP’s strategic pillars (approx. 10 to 15 hours per month)
- Learn more about ACAP’s strategic pillars here
- Must attend board meetings, usually held the first Friday of every other month at 12:00 PM Eastern Time
- Engage with ACAP activities, help with financial support and fundraising, and provide guidance on strategic initiatives
Nominee Qualifications:
1. Must be an ACAP member in good standing
2. Must have previous meaningful engagement in ACAP activities
3. Self-nominations are welcomed and encouraged
4. Nominations must come from an ACAP member
Submission Process:
1. Fill out the electronic nomination form. You can nominate yourself or another ACAP member you believe would be a valuable addition to the Board of Directors.
2. Upload your CV, write a short biography, or share a link to your LinkedIn profile.
3. Answer the provided questions regarding your prior engagement with ACAP and reasons for seeking a BoD position.
Nomination Timeline:
- Opening Date: September 17, 2024
- Closing Date: November 1, 2024
