The Association of Croatian American Professionals (ACAP) hosted their fourth annual conference in Cleveland. At the four-day event, more than 400 diplomats, scientists, artists, enginners, medical professionals, lawyers, journalists, business executives, social media experts and accountants from United States, Canada, Germany, Australia and Croatia were brought together.
The Ceremony began on Thursday, September 19th with a welcome at the American-Croatian Lodge in Eastlake, witch has been the “heart” of the Croatian community in Cleveland since 1984.
“A diverse array of innovative professionals with Croatian roots came together once again, to share strategies, knowledge and business contacts,” says Steven Pavletic, MD, Vice President, ACAP. “This gathering is meant to fuel networking opportunities, while creating meaningful impact and establishing long-lasting relationships with Croatians and friends of Croatia.”
The all-day conference took place a day later, September 20, at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown Hotel in Key Towe, and the rest of the conference – meeting, business presentations, sightseeing and social activities took place in downtown Cleveland.
On her first-ever presidential visit to Cleveland, Her Excellency Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, President of the Republic of Croatia, gave the keynote address for the gala ceremony.
